Melancong In Malaysia

Welcome back to my blog. Happy new year 2018 to everyone wish you have a wonderful year ahead! Here I will post my experiences when I travel to Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. I named as “Melancong In Malaysia” because that word was really reflects on me. In melayu, melancong mean is traveling. Malaysia became the first country that I visited in my travels abroad. I have planned to spend my holiday this year to go to Malaysia with my cousin. But she canceled it because she was proposed by his dream husband. Lucky you! and bless me God, because I was desperate to travel with who. I don’t give up here. I still want to go for Holiday. I whisper to myself. It is no problem if my trip to Malaysia is canceled at least I must spend holiday to go travel in some place. And suddenly, November give me some dust of magic! I found promo ticket round-trip to Malaysia with super duper affordable price, and fyi for this time I didn’t bought it on Traveloka HAHAHA. I bought the ticket on promotrip (if you have Instagram you better seacrh it for more info). I am glad to see the price, I immediately called all my friend who loves go travel. I asked my friend who stay in Bandung the one who go travel with me in my MTB Part (read my previous experience the named MTB) fortunately she wants too. But there is another problem, I should search for one person again. Because the ticket would got promo if you travel at least 3 people. So when you go with 3 person, ticket price for each person will cheaper than just go for 2 person. I asked my friend who studied in Malang, did she have a plan for holiday? She said “yes, I have. I would go to Kawah Ijen with my collegue”. Oh crap! I whisper to myself. Who else who will go with us? Then I asked my collegue friend who often go to Malaysia, she agree but she want to ask her boyfriend first since her boyfriend stay at Kuala Lumpur for study and work. The day after I saw the ticket promo she told me that her boyfriend will go to Indonesia on the day we decided to go travel in Kuala Lumpur. So she can’t join with us. Then I told my friend to invited her friend then yap finally her friend would join with us to go travel. Alhamdulillah dong. Person is completed and now I booked the ticket. I booked the ticket for 16th January 2018 and back at 19th January 2018 then for booked the hotel I still wait until 12 day before departure. Because I should check in first then check the schedule flight (if there is any changes) and all of shit-ty things. I plan to book the apartment on airbnb.com. But my friends didn’t agree because it takes a high cost, she prefer to booked a hostel for stay. But I think if we booked a hostel we should share, like sharing a bathroom, a room and etc. Usually hostel like a dormitory and one room can be filled about 10 people. We don’t rush our hotel booked and still search the best place to stay to equate with our budget. Finally my friend found the hotel with really good condition, approachable price and located on city centre of Kuala Lumpur.

Let’s began with day one or departure day, on 16th January 2018, I woke up at 05.30 am. I planed to take a new public transportation that government offer to public it is commuter train directly to Soekarno Hatta International Airport but by the time we got to the station, the train was already running. Okay drama traveling is come up. Huh. In fact, I had run to catched the train at 10:51 and when I ran I still had less than 4 minutes longer to catch the train. I don't know why the train running before the exactly time that show in schedule. I feel so upset and tired. Someone said you better go with other public transportation like grab, gocar or taxi because the next departure train is at 12.50 pm and if I still took train I will be left behind my schedule flight. So we decided took grabcar and if we calculated the transportation cost to Soekano Airport it turns out more cheaper than if I took the train. The cost of direct train to Soekarno is Rp 70.000 for each person and the cost took grabcar only 105.000 which is we split the bill so it cost only Rp 35.000 for each person. See differences right? However, why I took train because I want to try this new accomodation.

I dropped by grabcar at Terminal 2 Soekarno Hatta International Airport with my travel partner. My flight is about 14.22 pm, we arrived in Soekarno Hatta about 11.30 pm. Because still have a spare time we decided to lunch and then pray dzuhr first. After that we go to terminal door 2 and go to booth checkin self-service to print our ticket flight. When everything is done. We ready to flight!
Jakarta to Malaysia only took 2 hour flight. Time differences between Jakarta and Malaysia only 1 hour more quick than in Jakarta.

Finally we arrived at Kuala Lumpur International Airport 2, which is very far from Kuala Lumpur International Airport. I feel so excited to get to know about this Airport. When we are on the way out from Airport, there's an area like a little mall in this Airport, there are H&M, Zara, Bershka, Cellular shop and etc. But most important thing to do when I arrived at the Airport I must buy SIM card to keep me alive. HAHAHA. Milenial kids mode on:p. After we bought SIM Card, we bought pizza because it takes two hours from Airport to go to our hotel. We took a bus from Airport and bought it in ticket window that still in the same area in Airport. When we queued in line there's a girl look like an asian girl, she looks confused. Then she asked me about how she can get her bus to her hotel and I answered you must buy the bus ticket here. I thought she is an Indonesian but after she asked with english I
