MTB (Malang To Bali)

In the last of 2016, I was planning to go to Malang. For your information, I am the person who often cancelled plan anything that already planned. That's my bad. But I don't know why, when I called up my friend and asked her to going vacation together. she agreed and asked me, "with who do you go there?" and I answered "just two of us. we will visit our friend who studied in Malang. I have promised to visit her when I had a time". That is my small talk to my friend without thinking what will I do in there, with no good consideration and without asked my parents first, "do i get a permission to go?"

As you know, I am a girl with parents who always get worried with her daughter. (that's why I not allowed to study out of Jakarta). I know that every parents will do the same as my parents did. However, I always forgot to told my parents that I will go to Malang in the first month in 2017. and I start to think how if I told my parents after I bought a ticket train. Sounds it’s a great idea that come up to my mind. Then, I bought a ticket on 13th January in traveloka.com. That website really helpful for whoever wants do a travel. I choose on 13th January because I have to match the date with my friend’s day off. So I decided to go on 13th January and go back to Jakarta on 20th January. I just stayed a week in there. But for me, as a beginner traveler, its a such a long day for holiday. Some people said, “don’t be to long if you want to travel because you will get bored”. Well I don’t really noticed that words, actually. I just thinking what I should I do in a week. Because I don’t planning it yet.

I text my friend about the schedule and the place where we will stayed and visited as long as we in Malang. My friend said “How if we go to Bromo?” then I answer “AH! Yes of course, with jeep right?” and my friend said “yes with a jeep”.  I also said I want to visit Batu City in Malang, especially Museum Angkut, Jatim Park and Batu Night Spectacular. After brainstorming about a place we will visit then we make our little rundown by our version after we made it then we share to each other and choose the best to us. (seems too lebay ya HAHA).

A week before we go to Malang, my friend text me again and she said she wants to go to Bali. I had argue about that because I was planning just to explore Malang. But she still forced me to go to Bali. I still didn't agree with that idea. And it turns out that my friend asked my friend who stay in Malang for persuade me to go to Bali. Actually I really want to go there, but I just afraid that I don’t have much money to spent in Bali. Because you know, Bali is like a heaven on earth and once you step your foot there you will feel like forget about everything. After thinking, I said I will go in one condition, you should to know what a place is we are going to visit. My friend just said “yaudah gampang itumah”.

So, I go to two city for a week. I think it was gonna be fun challenging either. When I almost arrived in Malang, from the window train, I saw houses, I got amused on the houses full of color. People in Malang said that place called Jodipan. It was more like a house in Rio De Janeiro.

It was amazing to stayed in Malang. I stayed in MY KOSAN FRIEND. A place so cozy, the bathroom inside the room with kitchen set in the outside and we sharing it with another people in Kosan. Oh ya, I forgot to tell you how I can reach my kosan friend, I got ride from my college friend who also go to Malang with us. He has family in Malang and he stayed in his family house. Anyway, thank you Jody, for give me and my friend a ride to my friend kosan. In the afternoon, Malang weather isn't hot as Jakarta City. The unique thing I found there is so many abang-abang tukang bakso malang with cart which all traders who sell meatball are lezatos! I was also surprised by the price offered. Almost food in Malang have affordable price. After eat "bakso malang" I got shower and pray dzuhur. Not long after I pray, I feel sleepy then I decided to sleep and rest my whole body after more or less 8 hours in train. After healing a whole body, my friend ask me to accompany her, to change a little bit her hair. She want to cut her hair so I go to Salon near of her kosan.

In the evening, I prepare for our Gunung Bromo trip. Yeayyy. We have been rent a jeep that will picked us up. Evidently, the people who will trip to Gunung Bromo not just three of us, we got 3 additional friends and it was my junior high school friends. I'm so happyyy to know they will join our trip. They tell us, they've been planed it before and fortunately the rules of the jeep lease, must be at least 5 or 6 people in the jeep. The jeep will pick us up on my friends house, Adinda. She has house in Malang and she is living alone in that house. By the time, we arrived in Dinda house, there are Tifany, Dinda itself and Vannia there. We waited for the jeep to pick us about 30 minutes in Dinda's House. 

By the time jeep is arrived, we got ready to get into jeep and start the journey to mount bromo. I'm so excited for thissssss. The time was 4 am when i finally realized i feel cold on my body and we out of light, can you imagine how dark and cold the weather that time isn't it? It was my first experience to go that
